Placing your little daffodil in an unfamiliar environment can be stressful and emotionally upsetting. We have plenty of experience both professionally and as parents ourselves. We empathise with your concerns and assure you that the transition to daycare will be made as stress free as possible. Frequently Asked Questions Below is a list of the the most frequent questions and concerns parents have when looking for suitable childcare. We hope you find this useful.
We are always happy to discuss your child’s individual needs and requirements and any concerns you may have by email, on the phone or in person. Please do contact us if you have any questions that are not answered here.


What schools do you drop off/collect from?

We drop and collect from the following, which are all within 5 minutes walking distance: Selwyn Primary School,E13 0LX. Upton Cross Primary School, E13 0RJ

Are you registered with Ofsted?

Yes a copy of my certificate can be seen on request.


Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes we have public liability insurance through Morton Michel.

Do you have paediatric first aid training?

Yes both I and my assistants hold a current Paediatric first aid certificate Level 1 & 2

Are you CRB/DBS checked?

Yes, I, Ade and my workers have checks for you to view.

What food do you provide?

Little Daffodils believes that healthy food promotes both play and learning. My assistants and I are keen cook and enjoy using the newly renovated kitchen to provide breakfast lunch and dinner as well as healthy snacks during the day. Everything is freshly prepared; we do not use any processed food.

We can cater for a wide variety of dietary or allergy needs, just discuss with us what your childs needs are and we are happy to accommodate.
